June 25 Bartlesville

We spent the day sight seeing, starting out downtown. For a Monday we are limited to the Phillips Petroleum Museum and the Bartlesville History Museum and the La Quinta/Foster Mansion at the University since many things are closed on Monday, really!.

We of course had to cool off with an ice cream from Braums.

We also drove around looking at homes designed by Bruce Goff. The one Bill wanted a picture of was blocked by a freaking Lowe's truck parked in front of it.

While looking we found several kicking houses that appeared to be from the 60's.

We have plans for the Price Tower tour tomorrow morning and can't wait! We may also see Woolaroc unless it is too hot.

Wednesday we are doing a behind the scenes tour at the Phillips Mansion which is such an awesome place. Does anyone know how Phillips Petroleum got known as Phillips 66??

OMG what a great city for ride our bikes a round downtown, unfortunately it's so hot.

We plan to be here for a few days and I will add more pictures and comments if I have more to say.
