July 14, 2013 Sturgeon Bay, WI - Whitefish County Park

Sturgeon Bay has several draw bridges to let the larger sail boats out of the bay into Lake Michigan. They had a craft fair and a boat show this weekend. I looked the boats below and learned they all were sold at a price above $800K. Lake Michigan is so large the boats seen are much larger than what you would see on a normal lake.

We drove around Sturgeon Bay and followed the shoreline of Lake Michigan and found
Whitefish State and County park on Lake Michigan. The State Park had a mile an a half of sandy beaches, the County park had some sandy beach but most was a rocky cliff and very unique.

In addition of course the fields are full of corn and read barns.
