July 20, 2013 Vermillion, SD, AKA Clay County, SD

Vermillion is home of University of South Dakota and the area is rich with history.

We camped at the Clay County Park 4 miles outside Vermillion in the middle of Wheat and Corn fields, rabbits and an occasional sighting of deer.

Our park has trails that we have ridden a couple times trying to bike 3-4 miles. Some of the trail circles a corn field and you see nothing but corn stocks.

Today, Sunday July 21, 2013 we drove out of town from Vermillion to Elk City, did some geocaches and checked out the neighboring communities.
