Harry S. Truman guided the US and the world through times of ending WWII which
included the dropping of the atomic bomb, the formation of the United Nations, NATO
and the Marshall plan, the successful operation of the Berlin Airlift, the rescue of South
Korea from the communist aggression and the beginning of the Cold War.
We have now toured the Clinton Library in Little Rock, AR, the Reagan Library in Simi Valley,
CA. and of course now Truman's Library in Independence, MO.
