Met many people that had been going for several years to those like Bill and me, being newbies in the camp ground and planned float trip. I say"planned" since the morning of the float, we woke to temperatures that were in the upper 50's and raining. We opted not to float as at least 8 buses rumbled thru the campground to pick up anxious floaters.
Even some seasoned floaters opted to enjoy the morning at the camp site and try to stay dry and warm.
