March 16 Fort Zachary Taylor

We toured Truman White house and Fort Taylor was an awesome day. The Fort was pretty interesting and we were able to see a couple cruise ships come into Key West.

Truman loved Key West and the climate. The house was built in 1890 with 8700 sq ft on the waterfront for  commanders and paymasters. Truman used the house between 1946 thru 1952, Kennedy held a summit 23 days prior to the Bay of Pigs at the Little White house in Key West.
