March 19 Key West to Hollywood

We left behind the island life today :( We really enjoyed Key West immensely as it was very bike friendly and it allowed us to ride our bikes where ever we choose. More often than not we jumped on our bikes and went to town. And there was a certian attitude everyone seemed to so, laid back and no worries. It was AWESOME.

Leos campground was awesome too. It was small and quaint and nice to be so close to Key West, since Leo's is actually on Stock Island, maybe mile marker 2 on US1.

We have come to T.Y park or as the Seminole call it Topeekeegee Yugnee, a place of meeting under the trees. The park has over 136 acres or recreation and water park. A 2 mile loop for biking, jogging and skating. 60 RV sites that have full hook up with wifi(yea).

We will enjoy our time in Hollywood riding up and down the beach to keep our biking up now that I have an idea what we were doing in Key West.

Today we rode about 8 miles a slight bit less then some our jaunts before now.

Broward County has some pretty nice parks and are pretty reasonable to use. Our RV site was a little more than $20 less than Key West although Leo's was about $40 less than another park on Stock Island.

We are hoping to see as the season change in April we'll be seeing rates in the area drop as they will not be in their prime season if you can imagine the East coast of Florida not being a tourist destination HA HA.
